If you are looking for a good book to read, try Ghost Soldiers by Hampton Sides. This book tells the story of the Bataan Death March and the horrors of being a POW.
This is an interview with Colonel Glenn Frazier, a survivor of the Bataan Death March. It starts out with Frazier talking about what life was like before he joined the army. He also talks about his life in the Philippines and how he was surrendered to the Japanese. Then he goes on about the march and all of its horrors.

Here are some diary entries I discovered last night. They're from an American soldier who went through the Bataan Death March. No one is sure what his name was or even if he survived.
Some of my military friends and I discovered a Japanese military report that tells the truth about what happened before our troops were surrendered to the Japanese.
While I was digging through some of my files from the Bataan Death March, I recovered some letters written during the time before Bataan fell. They were from a soldier to his family, but they were never sent.
